Finally, a vacation...

We leave for vacation tomorrow and I'm SO excited to get away and see new places. We are going to Gettysburg, Antietam, and Mannassas battlefield sites. Then we are driving the Blue Ridge Parkway from Virgina to N. Carolina. Then we will dip into S. Carolina and then to Tennessee to stay in a cabin in the Smoky Mountains. Then off to Kentucky to see where the thoroughbred horses are raised before heading back home. Long trip, but hopefully fun! I'm hoping for some nice warm, sunny weather and some beautiful fall foliage. *fingers crossed*.
My dogs know when we are going somewhere... Cookie wanted to make sure we didn't leave her behind...She sat on that suitcase for a good hour. Ha ha...
