Hidden Treasure....

We found a little treasure of a museum by accident one day. We were driving through a small town north of us and saw the sign and decided to go inside. We were amazed by what we saw.
It was called Matchstick Marvels and everything inside was made out of, you guessed it, matchsticks. This man truly has a gift.

The space shuttle.

Minas Tirith from J.R.R Tolkien's 'The Lord of the Rings'. Awesome.

The US Capitol building. 478,000 matches, 10 gallons of glue, 2,000 hours to build.
The detail was INCREDIBLE! You can click on the pictures to see the detail.
and my personal favorite... the crooked house. Based on the nursery rhyme. 300,000 matches and 1,000 hours to build...

There was a crooked man and he walked a crooked mile, He found a crooked sixpence upon a crooked stile. He bought a crooked cat, which caught a crooked mouse, And they all lived together in a little crooked house.
